これまで写真家・ライターとして活動してきた私が、2022年11月に立ち上げた出版レーベルです。

自身の著書の刊行に加え、他者の本づくりを支援する出版代行も行っています。

NO BORDER BOOKSは、ジャンル、国境、世代、形式といった境界を超えて、自由に表現する場をひらく試みとして始まりました。一冊の書物が、読む人の感覚や思考を変える力を持つと、私たちは信じています。

人間の感覚は、印刷技術や写真、映像、そしてデジタルメディアの発展とともに、絶えず拡張されてきました。今日では、AIやネットワークテクノロジーの進化によって、かつてない速度と密度で情報と接し、未知の感覚領域に触れるようになっています。こうした変化のただ中にあって、あらためて「感じる」こと、「考える」ことの意味を、本というかたちを通して問い直したいと考えています。

既存の枠組みに収まらない表現、紙の質感や製本方法へのこだわり、あるいはデジタルと手仕事の融合。そうした多様な実践にひらかれた出版活動を志向しています。

感覚と知性のあいだに広がる、まだ名づけられていない領域に光をあてること——それが、私たちの核にある願いです。

This is an independent publishing label I launched in November 2022, following my work as a photographer and writer.

In addition to publishing my own books, I also offer support and publishing services for others who wish to bring their works into the world.

NO BORDER BOOKS began as an attempt to create a space for free expression—beyond the boundaries of genre, nationality, generation, and format. We believe that a single book holds the power to transform a reader’s perception and thought.

Human senses have constantly expanded alongside the development of technologies such as printing, photography, video, and digital media. Today, with the rapid evolution of AI and network technologies, we are exposed to information at unprecedented speed and density, reaching into previously unknown sensory territories. Amid such profound change, we seek to revisit the meaning of “feeling” and “thinking” through the form of books.

We pursue a publishing practice open to diverse expressions that transcend conventional frameworks: a commitment to the texture of paper and methods of binding, and the fusion of digital tools with handcrafted work.

To shed light on the unnamed territory between sensation and intellect—that is the core aspiration that guides our work.
